MATH 237 Online: Calculus 3 for Honours Mathematics

Course Content

Limit, continuity and differentiability of functions with two or more variables; Partial derivative, directional derivative and gradient; Chain rule; Linear approximation and Taylor polynomials;

Critical points and second derivative test; Global maximum and minumum with and without constraints;

Polar, spherical and cylindrical coordinates; chain rules for vector valued functions;

Double and triple integrals; Change of variable method.

 

Final exam will take place on August 8 from 9:00AM-11:30 PM, fully online via Crowdmark
